Jan Pasman

Jan Pasman was born in 1920 and died in Castricum in 2011. He was trained in Amsterdam as a structural engineer. As a hobby he drew and painted in watercolor and oil paint. Jan Pasman was self-taught. During the Second World War he was put to work in Germany, where he earned a little extra by drawing old farms. During holiday trips he made drawings and watercolors of, for example, picturesque French villages. Source: Stichting Werkgroep Oud-Castricum.
