Jan Pasman

Jan Pasman was born in 1920 and died in Castricum in 2011. He was trained in Amsterdam as a structural engineer. As a hobby he drew and painted in watercolor and oil paint. Jan Pasman was self-taught. During the Second World War he was put to work in Germany, where he earned some extra money drawing old farms. During holiday trips he made drawings and watercolors of, for example, picturesque French villages.
