Imre László Nagy, born in 1928 in Budapest (Hungary) and died in 1997 in Saint-Raphaël (France), painter, draftsman and maker of gouaches. Education: the Academy of Visual Arts in Budapest. He was taught by Róbert Berény. Style: His work is non-figurative and is counted among lyrical-abstract art. Imre Nagy worked for a long time in Budapest and Paris, but also in the Netherlands (Haarlem, 1956-1966) and later in Saint-Tropez, where he stayed until his death.
